FAQs

In order for us to maintain complete transparency to all our customers here at Iron Strong Apparel, refer to the Frequently Asked Questions below for all your queries. If you still have any questions about our products / brand, please drop us an email at admin@ironstrongapparel.com.

Q. Do you ship to us Canadians north of the border?

A. Of course! We wouldn't forget about you guys - we are based in Toronto after all! We now have a fulfilment warehouse in Toronto which has most of our apparel there (if want to check specifically, just email us). This keeps shipping costs down & no customs fees! Refer to our Shipping page for more info - however note that customs duties and fees may be applicable if items are shipped from US or Europe.

Q. Do you ship internationally?

A. We currently offer international shipping but as expected you may pay more depending on where you're located. We have live shipping rates worldwide, which will be shown at checkout. Refer to our Shipping page for more info.

Q. I live outside of the USA and just received my shirt along with a customs fee to pay - why is this?

A. Unfortunately this out of our control and is on a case-by-case basis. Some countries will decide to charge you an additional fee for importing the products you ordered and will normally also add on a handling fee. We have no way of knowing if this will happen or how much they will charge, so the responsibility always falls on the customer. Refer to our 'Shipping' page for more info.

Q. How long do I have to wait before I'm rocking my new weightlifting t shirt and smashing PRs (note: smashing PRs not guaranteed...but likely, if wearing an Iron Strong shirt)?

A. Our processing time is currently 2-7 business days in addition to the shipping times as noted on our Shipping page - though over half our orders are shipped within 3 business days or less. Just think of it as more time to get excited about your new t shirt and prepare your body to wear it!

Q. What type of t shirts do you use?

A. This will vary depending on the product you have ordered - refer to the individual product description for further details. We generally use the best quality American Apparel or Bella + Canvas garments for our products.

Q. Where is my product shipped from?

A. We currently have fulfilment warehouses in USA, Canada, Europe and UK. However, not all of our products are shipped from all locations, so we can't guarantee that your order will be fulfilled in a local warehouse. If you want to find out specifically for a product, just drop us an email.

Q. I can get cheaper t shirts for training in, why are yours priced as they are?

A. True - there are cheaper t shirts out there that people will choose to train in if they aren't concerned about style or comfort, even some free ones that you get with your order of protein powder. You may even find some of the big brands with cheaper t shirts. However, when you purchase from Iron Strong Apparel you can be assured that your shirt has been manufactured to the highest quality and is sweat-shop free. We also now offer eco conscious products using organic cotton and recycled polyester! You will also be supporting a small company of like minded individuals who share your passion for weightlifting.....not lining the pockets of a massive corporation.

Q. I received my new shirt and noticed a white residue / rectangle outline over my design...what is this & will it go away?

A. Don't worry! This is a special solution used for printing and can sometimes leave marks during the drying process. These are not stains and will wash off after the first wash cycle. Our apparel is created with the latest in garment printing technology and our inks are water based and eco-friendly. This makes them feel much softer than traditional screen printed shirts, but just as durable! If for some reason the residue does not disappear after a wash or two, drop us an email and we will be happy to send you a new shirt.

Q. What printing process do you use?

A. Our shirts are all printed using the latest in direct-to-garment printing technology. This means the inks are applied directly to the textile and are absorbed by the fibres. As such, printing on any of the blended styles (50/50 or tri-blend) will result in more of a vintage feel, with the design looking more like a part of the shirt as opposed to being 'raised' off the shirt. More comfort for you - less distractions in the gym. You may notice that we use 100% cotton shirts for some designs - this is to ensure the highest quality print and end result for you, the customer.

Q. The design on my shirt doesn't quite look like what I saw on the website, why is this?

A. We do have our quality control procedures in place to try and ensure that all products we ship are as they should be, however as with all things in life, sometimes it just doesn't go quite right. There may be an issue with the print quality (colours 'bleeding' or fuzzy lines) or with the design placement on the shirt; these can be caused by machine error or by human error in placing the shirt for printing. If you think your shirt doesn't look quite right, drop us an email with a picture of your shirt and we'll decide if you should get a re-print free of charge. Don't be shy - let us know!
